Hi!

I have a Hitachi HPW10-E4MB Windows CE 1.0 HPC, and it has a built-in 28.8kbps modem.

I can logon to my ISP through it and use Internet Explorer and Telnet, but after approximately 10 minutes, I cannot access anything else, even though my net connection has not dropped.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

Stephen

I have the sme HPC and the exact same problem. Let me know if you solved your problem. I will come back to this board if I find a solution. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your advice. However, I have configured my IE to go through my proxy, and have, but it still does not work, and this is especially different, as when I telnet or FTP (using different apps), it does not work either.

thanks.

I hope following is of some use to you: 1. It sounds as though your ISP goes through a proxy server. 2. If this is the case, you have to specify (in IE properties) your ISPs proxy address. I had the same problem and, after much discussion with my ISP, I discovered the problem. Regards. Ralph La Tella.
