Disconnecting from desktop -- possible?

I am wondering if CE Services works like the old HPC Explorer. With that, you were able to disconnect the desktop from the HPC without physically doing so. There was a 'disconnect' option. I have not found one with CE Services. I find that I must physically undock my HPC to break the connection. My problem is that I want to leave the HPC docked, but get on the net which needs the dial-up adapter. But if I leave my HPC docked, my desktop pc will keep trying to connect to it. Anyone else have the same problem? Is there a solution?
Thanks.

Sorry, you're right, it does the same thing on my HPC too. In fact, it will try reconnecting to the desktop only to notify me that it can't connect. As I don't use this feature anyways, I don't know what else can be done. Sorry! ;)

Patrick, thanks for the response. That does keep it from trying to reconnect, but I found that just closing the mobile devices windows does not disconnect my HPC. I have to do it from the HPC itself. Is this the normal procedure? Thanks. Beth :>

Although I haven't come across such a button, I think one solution would be to set the desktop to not automatically connect. Click the right mouse button in your Mobile Devices folder and click properties. Then click the Auto-connect button to change it so that when you close the Mobile Device window, connection will be shut. Hope this helps
