There are two types of flash cards.. wait, no, there are like 8... but
only two work with CE... let me try that again.
There are two form factors for flash memory... wait, no, there are at
least 4 removeable formats, only 2 work with CE... let me try again.
For CE, you can get Compact Flash storage cards and PCCard format Flash
Cards... which one you want depends on your device. The A-11 uses
PCCard sized devices, and doesn't support Compact Flash without an
adapter. Thanks to digital cameras, Compact Flash cards are plentiful
and getting cheaper fast. It's been a while since I've seen a "new"
PCCard sized flash card on the shelf... they're all CF with adapters.
SOOOOO.... here's what you do for best price:
1. Go to www.buycomp.com
2. Look up "sandisk"
3. From the list of all their products, pick out the size of Compact
Flash you want; we use 4Meg cards (SKU#603824) ($36.95)
4. Pick out the PCMCIA Card Adapter (SKU#603815) ($5.95)
5. If you want a CF reader for your PC, it's SKU#603810 ($49.95)
Enter your credit info, and off you go...
